Precious Jewels
Are you going through some hard times right now? Is the pressure a little too much than you can bear? Well, let’s talk about some precious stones. Diamonds. When you see a diamond at a jewelry store, you are looking at the finished product. A diamond starts out in a rough and dangerous environment, beneath the earth. Many lives have been lost to find these stones. It takes centuries to make diamonds. Through pressure and the perfect environment, still when found they don’t appear to have much worth. Raw diamonds have an unpolished, rough surface that lacks the brilliant facets of cut diamonds. Only an expert knows and recognizes their worth.
We are precious gems in God’s sight. You might not see yourself as one but God does. He sees and knows our potential. But it is only through pressure, will we reach our potential. James 1:2-4, “Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But, let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." Yes, there is a purpose for life’s pressures. Remember, God is with you during this process. It is for you to become a precious jewel in the sight of God and to shine for all to see.
Peace Like a River.
